The House Pürgstaller is located in Albes, a charming little village next to Bressanone / Brixen. You can easily reach the House by car or public transportation. Albes is a 700 inhabitants village in the middle of the countryside, located in a very sunny territory.
The House Pürgstaller is 5 km away from Bressanone / Brixen, one of the oldest towns of South Tyrol, full of sightseeing opportunities.
Bressanone / Brixen is a good place to go shopping and, in winter time, you will be able to enjoy a picturesque X-mas market.

Your satisfaction is important to us! 2 years ago, we completely refurbished the house, so you will find a brand new, modern design house, which still very much maintains the traditional flavour of South Tyrolean architecture. This is definitely the place to be should you wish to enjoy your spare time in a completely stress-free location.
In der Hauptsaison von Juli bis August, im Dezember bis zum 6. Januar und um Ostern kostet die Wohnung für zwei Personen 100 €, für vier Personen 130 € und für fünf bis sechs Personen 140 €. In der Nebensaison gelten günstigere Preise von 75 €, 110 € und 120 €. Zusätzlich zu dem Preis für die Ferienwohnung im Eisacktal muss vor Ort eine Kurtaxe entrichtet werden (ab 14 Jahre). Für Kinder haben wir selbstverständlich Sonderkonditionen: Bis zu sechs Jahren wohnen Ihre Kleinen bei uns kostenfrei, und für Kinder von sechs bis zwölf Jahren zahlen Sie nur 10 €.

Anni & Albert are well known in Brixen, due to Albert being the former mayor. They are very well integrated in South Tyrol and therefore can give you plenty of insights and tips about the region to make your holiday more than a simple journey.
Wunderschöne, geräumige, helle und tip-top-saubere Wohnung. Albeins ist ein sehr nettes Dorf im Grünen mit Apfelgärten, Lebenmittelladen und zwei feinen Lokalen. Es liegt in bester Lage zu Brixen mit super Busanbindung, (mit dem Auto fünf Minuten). Danke für die herzliche Betreuung und das nette Miteinander.
Albert and Anna are extremely nice and helpful. They even provided home made jam and bread for us. The house is well decorated, clean, modern and cosy which made us feel be in our home. It is definitely a place which I will recommend to others. Thanks a lot!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung entspricht den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Sie ist großzügig geschnitten und war tadellos sauber. Die Wohnung ist ruhig im zauberhaften Örtchen Albeins gelegen und trotzdem verkehrsgünstig in wenigen Minuten von der Autobahn zu erreichen.
Anna und Albert waren ganz tolle hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Da wir spät ankamen, sorgten sie dafür, dass wir etwas zum frühstücken hatten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Sogar Spielsachen und ein Babybett hatten sie extra für uns organisiert.

You will have numerous opportunities to enjoy the local gastronomy: a very famous pizzeria is just around the corner, as well as a traditional restaurant, which also offers a wide selection of local wines. A grocery shop is also within walking distance of your place.

There are lots of opportunities to enjoy open air activities for kids e.g., water games at Acquarena, climbing indoor at Vertikale, visiting farms, trekking in the mountains and why not some fantastic ice creams at Tonig Bar in Velthurns?
If you don’t know when to visit Brixen, no worries: every season is the right one. Whether you prefer skiing or mountain biking, enjoying the taste of traditional food at the Törggelen (in autumn) or cultural events at the Hofburg - this is the place to be!
Albes is the right starting point for a lot of hiking routes and climbing opportunities. Albert is a passionate hiker and will therefore suggest a lot of nice tours for you if you wish.
You will have several bike-rental opportunities in Brixen, and a full range of cycling tracks all over the valley.
Do you fancy climbing? Then you should definitely try the indoor climbing centre “Kletterzentrum Vertikale” in Brixen. In the conditioned hall, as well as externally, you will be able to enjoy the 195 rope routes and 162 boulders, from easy to very difficult. Furthermore, you will be able to take classes, either individually or in group. Expert climbers will have the opportunity to choose between several routes, including the famous Günther-Messner-Steig or the Piz Duleda Klettersteig.
Not far from Albes, there are stables that offer riding opportunities for kids and adults.
The ski region Plose-Bressanone offers 40 km of ski slopes, 12 km of sledge slopes, and 9 modern ski lifts.
